Development

Harbinger:Docent is still in development. The demo has been released to the public for free. The actual game will be 6-7 times larger and have multiple endings.

Installation Instructions

Note: Currently this demo only works on computers that run Windows, MacOS or Linux. It does not run on mobile phones and tablets running Android or iOS.

Step One:  Download the zip file that's appropriate for your operating system.

Step Two:  Unzip the file by double clicking the downloaded zip file.   

Step Three:  

For Windows Users
Double-click the 'Harbinger' application file (.exe) to open. If Windows security flags the application as suspicious, allow it to open the app.

For Mac Users
Mac OS will not allow you to open the app since it has not been downloaded from the App Store. To circumvent this, ctrl-click/right-click the 'Harbinger' application file and choose open anyways.  If it still blocks by showing you "unknown publisher or developer not verified", go to security and permissions to click "Open Anyway" button.

For Linux Users
Double-click the executable file and bypass any security checks, if necessary.
